MEMBERSHIPS OF THE NATIONAL FEDERATION
Independent Individual Membership:
Definition:
- An unaffiliated Individual engaged in personal pursuit as Athlete, Coach &/or Referee in the sport of Teqball,
Eligibility Criteria:
- Registered with FITEQ,
- Agree to observe & conform to NF Constitution & Statutes.
Independant Individual Membership Categories:
- Athlete– Individual seeking to compete in competitive capacity in the sport of Teqball, with ambition to represent their country as an athlete in international competitions.
- Coach– Individual seeking to develop elite athletes by providing Teqball specific training techniques, methods and knowledge to prepare athletes to compete in a competitive capacity in the sport of Teqball, with ambition to support athletes represent their country as a National Team Staff member at international competitions.
- Referee – Individual seeking to support fair and equitable competition in the sport of Teqball, overseeing & applying the rules of the game in State & National Competitions to ensure the integrity of the sport and with ambition to represent their country as a National Official Staff member at international competitions.

- Athlete: Will be eligible to accrue points based on; participation in Workshops, Clinics and Education Programs coordinated by State & National Federations, participation in State & National Competitions, competitive results in State & National Competitions and consideration in specific format for National Team Player selection.
- Coaches: Will be eligible to accrue points based on; participation in Workshops, Clinics and Education Programs coordinated by State & National Federations and consideration for National Team Staff selection.
- Referees: Will be eligible to accrue points based on; participation in Workshops, Clinics and Education Programs coordinated by State & National Federations, officiating of State & National Competitions and consideration for National Official Staff selection.

Membership Rights:
- Eligibility to participate in official National Federation events & competitions,
- Eligibility to accrue points towards National selection,
- Eligibility to represent Nation at World Championships competition events,
GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
Where there is no local governing body (State Association) in the state or territory where the player, coach (Individual) or Independent Individual is based, they will be subject to the rules, regulations, bylaws, policies and procedures of the National Federation (National
Federation Rules) and report directly to the National Federation.
Where there is a State Association in the state or territory, the Individual or Independent Individual will be subject to the rules, regulations, bylaws, policies and procedures of the State Association as well as the National Federation Rules.
FEES
Where there is no State Association, the Independent Individual is responsible for paying the annual Independent Individual Membership Fee directly to the National Federation.
Where there is a State Association, Independent Individual is responsible for paying the annual Independent Individual Membership Fee to the State Association, which the State Association will forward to the National Federation.

- A Member of an Official Teqball Club,
- Registered with FITEQ,

Individuals associated with a Club will be subject to the rules, regulations, bylaws, policies and procedures of the Club and the State Association &/or National Federation Rules.
FEES
As a member of a Club, the club are responsible for paying the annual Individual Membership Fee to the appropriate governing body.
Where there is no State Association, the Club is responsible for paying the annual Individual Membership Fee directly to the National Federation.
Where there is a State Association, the Club is responsible for paying the annual Individual Membership Fee to the State Association, which the State Association will forward to the National Federation.
Club Membership:
Definition:
Sporting Club with intent to develop athletes & pursue competitive representation in the sport of Teqball.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Registered with NF,
- Legally registered entity, Established Executive Committee,
- Agree to observe & conform to NF Constitution & Statutes.

By becoming an Australian Teqball Federation (ATF) Club Member, you will receive access to the benefits offered by the ATF and gain eligibility to have their athletes represent the club in National competitions, be eligible for prize money payments associated with athletes’ competitive results and consideration for selection to participate in National or International Club competitive events.
Club: Will be eligible to accrue points based on; their athletes & club officials participation in Workshop, Clinics & Education Programs, their athlete’s participation in State & National Competitions, competitive results in State & National Competitions and involvement in development of the sport.
As a Club Member, the entity will be eligible to offer Athletes & Coaches membership and be entitled to fees payable by its members to support its activities in-line with the NF’s Constitution & Statutes as a Teqball Club.

GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE
Where there is no State Association in the state or territory, the Club will be subject to the National Federation Rules and will report directly to the National Federation.
FEES
Where there is no State Association, Clubs are responsible for paying the annual Club Membership Fee and its Individual Member Fees for all its Athletes & Coaches directly to the National Federation.
Where there is a State Association, Clubs are responsible for paying the annual Club Membership Fee and its Individual Member Fees for all its Athletes & Coaches to the State Association, which the State Association will forward to the National Federation.
Clubs are responsible for the collection of their members fee from each Individual and forwarding these fees to the appropriate governing entity.
A Club may choose to discount or waive Individuals’ membership fees for their members in accordance with the Club’s own policies and procedures. However, this will be at the expense of the Club and does not reduce the amount due to the National Federation or the
State Association, as the case may be.
For the avoidance of doubt, the National Federation Fees do not include any additional membership fees set by Clubs and payable by each Individual to cover each Club’s costs such as fees for administration, training, uniforms and other goods or services.
Association Membership:
Definition:
Entity operating as the Governing Body for the sport of Teqball statewide (Only 1 per state),
Eligibility Criteria:
Registered with NF,
- Legally registered entity as an Incorporated Association,
- Established Executive Board,
- Agree to observe & conform to NF Constitution
Why join:
By becoming an Australian Teqball Federation (ATF) Association Member, you will receive access to the benefits offered by the ATF and gain eligibility to have their athletes represent their state in National competitions and be eligible for prize money payments associated with athletes’ competitive results.
Association: Will be eligible to accrue points based on; competition events hosted, participation by numbers, competitive results of athletes in National Competitions and involvement in development of the sport.
As a State Association Member, the entity will be eligible to offer Athletes, Coaches, Referees & Clubs membership and be entitled to fees payable by its members to support its activities in-line with the NF’s Constitution & Statutes as a State Federation.

- To be recognised as the only Teqball governing body of its state by everybody, including its National Government Authority, National Sports Authority, and National Olympic Committee,
- To take part in the NF General Assembly as set out in the NF’s Constitution & Statutes,
- To make proposals to change NF Rules and to make nominations for the Executive Board and Committees.

FEES
The State Association is responsible for paying its annual State Association Fee, Club Membership Fees, Independent Individual Membership Fees & Individual Membership Fees for all active members within its jurisdiction directly to the National Federation.
