Bringing Teqball to Australia

The Australian Teqball Federation (ATF), are dedicated to establishing a solid foundation for the growth of the sport down-under. With the support of Fédération Internationale de Teqball (FITEQ), the ATF are focused on strategic plans aligned with our remits for exposure of the sport via partnerships, development of athletes, coaches & referees through accredited programs and recognition of state federations, competitive clubs and competition events.

Our vision for Teqball in Australia

At ATF, are focused on growing the sport by supporting the establishment and recognition of state & territories-based federations to develop the sport locally. Their promotion of Teqball as a skill acquisition asset, rehabilitation tool and engagement activity will introduce the sport to Junior, Youth & Adults seeking to improve their fitness, health and develop skills which are transferable to other sports.

What to Get Involved???

We are looking to grow the sport and welcome all interest in being involved in the expansion and development of Teqball across the country. Whether your keen to be involved as an Athlete, Coach, Referee or looking to start a Teqball Club or want to be apart of the organisation in an administrative capacity, WE WELCOME ALL INTEREST.

oUR STATUS IN PURSUIT OF
NATIONAL SPORTS RECOGNITION

As part of the National Federations objectives, we are seeking to gain official National Sport Organisation recognition, the ATF’s currently eligibility status based on the ASC’s criteria is as follows:

SPORT DEFINITION

Teqball is recognised as a legitimate sport because it has a formal governing body, a global competitive structure, codified rules, and meets the physical, ethical, and organisational standards set by international sport authorities.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

The National Teqball Federation of Australia (NTFA) is recognised as the sole & official governing body of Teqball nationally and is a recognised member of the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ).

The Australian Teqball Federation (ATF) are the appointed & recognised governing body overseeing Exposure, Development and Governance of the sport nationally.
